Video Playback Buffers

I have two S5s, one for me and one for the Wife. While I have not been able to duplicate this on my S5, her's will pause and buffer while trying to play videos she has recorded. I thought I had a slow SD card issue because a while back it wouldn't write HD video to the SD card, so I bough two Samsung Pro 64GB that seemed to have the fastest read/write speeds available (of those that actually list the speeds). That fixed the recording issue, but not the playback.

Thoughts?

She might have more processes or "tasks" running in the background taking up ram memory. Memory issues tend to cause buffering. I'm assuming she has plenty of disk space on the phone. Check her auto start apps and see what's going on there too.

I thought that too, and rebooted the phone when it happened. She really doesn't have that many apps (maybe 10?) besides the preloaded ones. I also forced everything to shutdown, and still have buffer issues.

I've experienced this myself before, it has happened to me a couple of occasions (the camera app opened and noticed considerable lag while recording - probably a weird hiccup in software). The videos from these two occasions played back jerky and laggy, and there didn't seem to be a way to fix it.

Have you guys tried recording new video to see if you get the same results?
