Tapping the screen does nothing during video playback and the bottom menu remains on the screen. Any help?

I took video:

When the video is playing, click the power button which locks and unlock it
Also try touch a bit more away from the player buttons

A temp solution is to switch orientation to portrait and then back to landscape

That certainly does the trick. Just a slight annoyance.

I'm guessing no one else here is having this issue (?)

Thanks for the reply

No experience with MKV files on my new S4 yet. This is only with my recorded videos.

On top of that, I'm now noticing the exact same problem when viewing my photos. Can't go fullscreen, the damn menu wants to stick around. Ugh

Hi,

I am facing the same issue with the video player. This happens with all videos, which I think has started only after the recent update of the app.
I cant really replace the device, its out of warranty period. Any ideas guys other than replacing? Can I report a bug? If so where?

It was apparently a bad unit. Replaced the phone, all was well. Now, if only my Note 4 would work correctly! *sigh*
