I'm having issues with video playback skipping. I noticed it initially on Snapchat which I thought was an app issue. However I am noticing it on all apps that have video playback. Even videos off my Instagram that I posted before with my S7 are laggy and skip when I play them on my HTC 10. I want to like this device but I'm.nearing the end of my return period. Any help is appreciated!

Video playback lag...is it just me??

I have the unlcoked HTC 10 currently and came from an S6. What I can tell you is that from my experience, some apps (I.e. Snapchat) are better optimized for Samsung devices. Snapchat lags bad on mine. I like the HTC 10 a lot and while it does have its faults, I would not go back to Samsung because of their inconsistency to keep their devices running smooth.

yeah I don't have the lag in snapchat or any video playback so I suggest getting your phone checked out as well
No lag over here with any video play back. Try doing a wipe of your cache. Settings>Storage>Phone Storage>Cached Data.
