Video Player controls gone

Starting last week I noticed when I watch a video that my controls are gone when I have playback. I found out that the phone locks the controls away so I have to press the power button to unlock but my question is how do I turn off the lock all together. It's really starting to annoy me. And save the why don't you install a 3rd party comments.

From what I understand, if you're using the stock Video app to watch a video, pressing the Power button will activate the lock, and pressing Power again will deactivate it. Is it automatically locking for you, even without pressing Power? Could you be inadvertently pressing Power, especially if the button is pretty sensitive?

It doesn't look like there's a way to turn off that feature. Have you already checked the Video app's settings?

I have. Everytime I start a video it is locked by default so I have to press the power button twice to unlock it. I've looked through the video settings and nothing about lock or unlock. It's really annoying. Lol
