New to Android, just acquired note 8 from iPhone. Why when I send wife videos, iPhone, they are blurry. She sent me a video and it sucked. All thru mms. Didn't have prob sent from iPhone to iPhone.
Is there a mutual app she and I can download to solve this. Thanks allot look forward to learning about this amazing phone

iOS to iOS uses iMessage protocol so the limit on video size is bigger. With MMS, file size is limited to 1MB (maybe even lower) and that is why shared videos look crappy. To solve this, use messaging services like Viber, Whatsapp, or Facebook Messenger.

unfortunately Google hasn't created a messaging platform like iMessage that supports better text messaging and MMS (not sure why)...FB messenger or Whatsapp are the only options really..

Yep, download Allo. If you and your wife use it, that should make a total of about 8 people.

When I was travelling internationally I used BBM (Blackberry Messenger) to make voice calls and share messages with my wife. This worked over Wifi and eliminated the need to pay for international service.

And neither of us had a Blackberry phone at that time.
