videos will not play!

Since downloading the new update (5.0.1) on my nexus 4, videos will not play on any apps (YouTube, Facebook, or even the video player). Not sure what to do...

Welcome to Android Central! Try wiping the cache partition, which won't erase any personal data: https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-5994. If that doesn't help, then go to Settings>Developer Options, and uncheck the NuPlayer option. If you don't have Developer Options visible, then go to Settings>About Phone​, and tap on Build Number 7 times.

by video player, do you mean the stock player?and is it all video formats that dont play?
