I took a vidio of my Granddaughter dancing and tried to email it to my son and a message said it was too big Bummer.How can I make it small enough to email? Thanks

Your best option would be to upload it to Google photos and then share it with her.

Hopefully you are using Google Photos as a backup for your photos and videos anyway. I haven't seen too many lately but they seem to come in spurts, "help I've lost a video of..." "a photo of..." "my phone was lost, stolen, factory reset, how do I recover the photos that were on it" Recovery is a rough game, some times you get lucky but a lot of times you loose, so it is better to be safe than sorry. Just putting that out there as a PSA, not to sound preachy.

Anyway, if your photos and videos are set to auto backup you don't have to "upload" them, at least not manually the way it sounds in this advice, to Google Photos before you share them. Google takes care of that for you. You also don't have to wait to share them, they can be shared immediately through your Google account just by hitting the share button and selecting the other persons Gmail account/address.

For anyone you don't have a Google connection to, you can hit the share button and select "copy link" and paste that link in a text, email or any way you message. They can then use the link to view the item shared.
