view contents of sd card

LG Optimus T, saved my contacts to a Vcard file, saw it saving to my SD card, now I have my phone plugged into my computer and don't know where to look to find this file. I see all the folders like Android, data, appack, bluetooth, etc., but where would the file have gone? I want to get it onto my PC so I can import contacts into gmail account. I haven't been saving new contacts to the gmail account since I didn't know to do that, so now I want those contacts in my gmail account. The sync feature only syncs from gmail TO phone, not vice versa. Thanks.

well duh, I tried this again and the file was there in plain sight listed along with all the folders. Imported to Gmail, and now I'm good.
