3G was out for me for most of the afternoon, and came on at almost exactly 10PM (Los Angeles).

Mine finally came back on sometime after midnight here in Waco, TX.

I've got a friend who works for Radio Shack who says that VM said they were doing maintenance on their network yesterday, which is why it was down nearly all day.

I'd bet that it has something to do with how many of the Optimus phones have been sold. :3
