*Virgin Mobile* Need Root Advice

If I root my Galaxy S2 now, and Virgin Mobile releases Android 4.3 OS will I be able to update to 4.3 without messing up my phone?

I attached a screenshot of my phone specs if that helps. If any additional information is needed please include it in your reply and I will do the best I can to provide the info.

I don't think the S2 is going to be getting 4.3 :/ But I could be wrong, anyway if you root I'm pretty sure you're not supposed to do OTA updates and if you use something like Cyanogen Mod on your GS2 you'll have 4.2 or 4.3 anyway....
