Virgin Mobile Optimus V - notification bar is gone

Hi all,

After dropping my phone the other day my notification bar is nowhere to be found.
My phone vibrates and blinks to tell me something has happened, but I don't know what.
My battery power, the time, the wifi, the navigation - all gone.

I've done a reboot as well, and that didn't solve anything.

Try pulling battery and then hold power button for 30 sec. If that doesn't work you will need to do a factory reset (this wipes all user data as well.
You will need to download AppTyant from the PlayStore. Open it up and let it do it's thing (it should auto backup all your apps to a folder on the SD card, if not select the option from the settings). Now backup everything on SD card to computer, just in case.
When factory reset is done, download a good file manager like ES File Explorer. Go to the AppTyrant folder (might be labeled Root Uninstaller) and restore your apps one at a tjme (tap or long press app to bring up install option).
