Virus on my htc thats not going away

Iv a HTC and iv a virus on it but it seems to be coming back all the time if done 3 factory resets and still coming back

How do you know it is malware? What symptoms are you getting? What is happening that should not be?

I have the same issue. Every time I enter a new app. A pop up link to the play store appears. Asking me to install some crap apps.
It gets really irritating when I am in a rush to reply sms etc.

Any solutions?
I have virus scanning app as well but it doesn't help.

After doing a factory reset, is it coming back before or after you start reinstalling the apps and games you use from the Playstore?
