Virus warning

So I went to a site, a picture hosted by imageshack, and right away it told me I had a virus and to hit ok to download something to get rid of it. I didn't do that, I just closed out of that tab. I had Lookout installed already, but installed AVG after and scanned with both. Both said my phone is clean. Think it was a false warning to get me to download something? Since both Lookout and AVG didn't find anything, think my phone is safe?

Thanks

I would say you did the right thing, when someone demands I click on something I close the tab and put it on my, places to avoid list. Probably nothing to worry about but maybe make sure AVG is updated then run another scan.;)

I say you're safe, just trying to sucker you into clicking something.

I just back out of it. And if i get any problems afterwards i clear the cache and reboot the phone. Never needed to download any xtra security apps
