how visible is the screen in direct sunlight ?

The screen on mine is fine outside, but be careful, a direct reflection of the sun will blind you. Much better than my old S3.

Visibility is better on the Note 8 versus some other Samsung products because it is not using the AMOLED screen. Even though I like the look of AMOLED, I love this screen as it is and it has worked well in sunlight for me.
