Hey so after rooting last night there is one app that I am missing and cannot find a working fix. I am running CM10.1 and am trying to find a Visual Voicemail apk. Everything I found on XDA was from the Nexus and doesnt work...it downloads but once open it just hangs on finding subscription. Anyone know where I can get VV? And no Im not interested in GVoice or Youmail. Thanks!

This is usually one of the positive apps that the carrier provides. Sprint actually had a decent one, even though it took some work to get going in AOSP ROMs. Verizon offers Visual Voicemail as a paid add-on feature, so not likely you will find anything that works directly with their backend. If someone has a good solution that does not involve using a Google product, I am also interested.

Cool beans. Do you have to install all the other Verizon apps to get it to work? I could not care less about NFL and all the silly stuff that comes with it.

OP said he wasn't interested in Google Voice, so I'm not offering it as a suggestion...however I switched over it a while ago and couldn't be happier. It's free, easy to set up and works are any ROM. As an added bonus, I get my VM's sent to my Gmail account, which is great for me because I often working in building where I'm unable to use my cell phone.

Again, I understand if the OP doesn't want to switch...but for others with this issue using non-stock ROMs, it's definitely worth considering.

+1 for GV. Used VVM until something screwed up the volume and I couldn't here it. VZW couldn't fix it. Went to GV which works well and transcribed messages and notifications sent to email and SMS are a bonus.
