Since my 4.4.4 upgrade I cannot use voice Control to answer or reject calls when using Hands Free Mode.
I checked to see Voice Control is on, hands free is on, S Voice is on. I've restarted, cleared cache, cleared cache partition, battery pull, sim&SD card pull! What else can I do??
I DO NOT want to do a factory reset!!!

I was about to suggest factory reset as a last resort, but....you don't want to do that. It looks like you have covered most everything that you could try aside from the reset, which may be necessary at this point. Be sure to backup and sync your data if you do, and let us know how it goes.

I called and talked with Samsung this morning for quite a while and tried everything they could think of. Factory Reset only option but last time I did a factory reset to fix something, It still didn't work!

Does it work withOUT HandsFree mode being on? It looks to me like in HandsFree mode, the only way to answer the call that is checkbox-selectable is "Air call-accept", "wave your hand over the screen to accept incoming calls". It could be that if that is checked, it overrides the voice-activated call answering set in call settings? Maybe try just unchecking that box first? Factory resets are such a PITA.

Thanks! I will try that. I have had to do a couple factory resets and always lose valuable stuff no matter how careful with backup!

I tried your suggestion and it still won't answer with the screen off but it will with the screen on? ?????????

Found the problem with help from Samsung Remote Services!
Settings >Lockscreen>uncheck/wake-up in lock screen.
That was it! It must have been checked with the new 4.4.4 update. Thank God~no factory data reset!
