Voice Dial over Bluetooth for Galaxy Note?

This question applies to Android 2.3.8 in general, but I'm finding issues with B/T connectivity with voice command. This exists not only for the Skyrocket, but also for the Galaxy Note. Can anyone confirm or have any info on whether or not the Galaxy Note using Android 2.3.8 works with voice over bluetooth and bluetooth dialing? the info I've seen on the net says there are problems. I'm only interested because the G-Note is being intrroduced right when I'm ready to upgrade, (never used Android before), and it's bugging me me that there could be issues with a function I use daily. It's wild that my winmo 6.5 phone connects with bluetooth using voice command fine, but the G-Note (and it's smaller cousin the Skyrocket) doesn't.

Anybody got any ideas or thoughts? Thanks,
W!

I highly doubt anyone will be able to say anything. The phone isnt even released for another 12 Days. You asked specifically for the AT&T Version, as you are in that area. So no one will know until Feb 19th when the phone is officially released if Voice over BT is available.

Good response. But I was wondering if any international users of the Galaxy Note had any issues with voice dial over B/T. From my experience with AT&T's overay of a phone's OS, they rarely make improvements to the original software.

The only issue with that is International Users have been upgraded to ICS (Android 4.0) and therefor can't accurately respond. Since they are no longer on the version of Android that you are asking about. Sadly the only thing that can be done is to wait and see what happens on the 19th. Cause till then all your going to get is a bunch of guesses or answers that will not pertain to the device or version your looking to get answers about.

Just on a whim I just decided to stop into Best Buy today. There was an AT&T rep on the floor. She knew I had done my research. I asked if they had a demo or "dummy phone." To my amazement, she showed up with one and I got a chance to feel it in my hands. Not bad. It fits in my pocket just fine. I'm sold. I even asked about "voice dialing over bluetooth." She called a guy named "Victor." I said, "I hope you're not calling somebody at customer service -- they don't know anything about the phone. With a smirk she said, "No, I have my own special hookup." Victor confirmed that the Galaxy Note had voice dial over bluetooth. Who knows if he is telling the truth, but I was impressed that she didn't bat an eye at my specific question.

Hope this helps. I'm kinda sold on the G-Note.

Just because samsung has announced ics is coming doesn't mean the phones have been upgraded
