I find myself using voice dictation for almost everything on my phone due to the arthritis in my hands. Anyone else out there using voice dictation for everything?

I use it all the time! For this reason alone I cannot use the Samsung keyboard and use Gboard as my default keyboard. In my experience it handles voice to text far better.

Just use Google keyboard and the microphone is there to use.I haven't got there yet. you set that up in Accessibility?
cool...not going to do it, but was curious for future consideration. with that in mind, Samsung Keyboard also has the same feature (nevermind Bixby or Google Assistant can do the job, too)Just use Google keyboard and the microphone is there to use.

The Samsung text to speak engine isn't as good in my opinion. Even if you enable Google as the preferred text to speech engine in settings and use that with the Sammy keyboard I find Gboard is much better at recognizing what I say.cool...not going to do it, but was curious for future consideration. with that in mind, Samsung Keyboard also has the same feature (nevermind Bixby or Google Assistant can do the job, too)
I try to use it a lot, but end up getting frustrated with having to correct what it types. It isn't very good with my accent
My biggest pet peeve is it typing the word karma when what I want is a comma.
Specifically try Gboard voice dictation/microphone instead of Samsung keyboard version.
"posh" and "southern" don't seem to go togetherI use Gboard, only use Samsung keyboard on my watch. It's not even much better on my Pixel.
Works a lot better if I put on a posh Southern accent though haha.
"posh" and "southern" don't seem to go together(speaking as one who is fluent in "Redneck")
LolFrom an American perspective, England is upside down. Our South is soft and rich, the North is tough and poor.
