Can somebody please tell me why and how I can go about getting my voice mail to show up on my phone?
I have been getting pissed, I been calling contractors leaving messages and they haven’t been returning my calls. So I thought so. But found out tonight I check my messages and I had 11 voice Mail I never knew I had, let alone got any notifications stating I had any..

Thank you in advance

Open your Phone app, tap Menu>Settings>Call Settings>Voicemail, and make sure your voicemail inbox is set up correctly.

It's not just Verizon! meet Sprint s9 plus hasn't notified me of a voicemail since June 2nd! I had several waiting also from people I assumed simply weren't leaving messages... what's up Samsung?...

Have you both spoken with your respective carriers to see if they can offer a solution? It might be a carrier-based issue.

This shouldn't matter, but go to Settings>Apps, tap Menu>Show System, and select Phone and Phone Services. Look at the App Notifications for both -- are notifications for voicemails turned on there? On my Pixel 2 XL, those switches are permanently on, and greyed out so I can't turn them off, so it's probably the same for you, but check just in case.

I have Verizon. Go to settings/notifications and click on voicemail and make sure they are turned on the way you want them.
