Okay, I've seen a lot of talk about Voice over LTE. I hadn't messed with it, because I'm firmly in the "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" school of thought.
But as it happened, my CDMA radio just died, so it was Voice over LTE or nothing, or the day or so until my replacement arrived.
It works okay. I didn't test it that much, because I wasn't without CDMA for all that long. Call quality was acceptable, but nothing extraordinary. It added buttons for video calling options to the "in call" screen. I didn't try out that functionality.
It doesn't seem to function for receiving calls. I was able to send and receive texts.
Well, that's it for my impromptu review. My replacement Maxx just arrived, so I can have the joy of rebuilding my phone from scratch!
