Voice Recorder Crashed and Lost Recording

Any possibility that the file being recorded can be recovered? Where would I find it? I've looked.

Check your Internal Storage and your microSD card for a folder called LOST.DIR, which is where aborted files get stored. The files will be coded--see if you can find one that could be a .wav or .mp3 file.

Yes, the recovery is possible of your lost recording but only when you have created a backup of all your lost recordings. If not then I would suggest you to try some recovery softwares as there are several that can easily retrieves your recordings on Android.
