Voice to text doesn't work well

Hey all

S6 - stock
Verizon
MM 6.0.1
Using SimplyText for my text app as I like the PC option since I am in front of a PC almost all day. When I select the microphone on my phone to use voice to text, most times it won't pick anything up.

Is it SimplyText? MM?? or ???

Did this all of a sudden start happening? Or after the update to MM?

I think it's been since the MM update. Along with BT not playing Pandora unless I turn WiFi off...

Well you'll join many, Rick, with these issue after this update. Two things for you to do, hopefully the first one works!

1. Enter recovery mode, and wipe Cache Partition, No data loss will occur.
2. Full Factory Reset - ALL DATA LOSS, PHONE AS NEW!!!. Back up your device. My opinion, this one better option.

Well, #2 was done about 2 weeks after the update so I will go after #1 now and see what happens
