Voice to Text sometimes doesn't work

Voice to Text sometimes doesn't work. Any ideas other than Vlingo?

I have had a lot of good luck with "Flex T9 Text Input" and it's voice to text. Gets it right as long as I don't have the radio on and the window open.

I didn't mean that it doesn't work properly, I meant that sometimes it doesn't work at all.

I hit the microphone, and the prompt "speak now" comes up, but it doesn't activate,it just sticks there until I cancel.
