Voicemail Not Working After Update

Hey guys, I'm Ledsteplin from over at iMore. I have a friend with an LG G3 who says his Voicemail quit working after the recent update. I'm trying to get him to come here and join. He's thinking it over. Have any of you had this issue, or know of a fix? Verizon techs were clueless. Thanks!

Need more information,what kind of update ? If system ,then he may need to go to store,have them backup his information,and do a factory reset at worst. But he should start with all settings,for phone,then call voicemail and redo his greeting,and there are settings in the call menu as well. But without knowing a lot more,no one can really help with such a generic request.

Not sure. It sounded like he referred to an OS update. Thanks! I'll give him this info.
