voicemail notification but no voicemail

okay ive tried everything i can think of but i have a new voicemail notification and when i check it.. no voicemails..

so i tried google voice i like it and there is still that notification

i tried a soft reset, tried leaving a voicemail and then deleting it.. im stumped!

Im on a rooted evo and ive had a few different roms and the issue stays on each one..

HELP ME! HELP ME PLEASE!

What voicemail are you presently using, the pre-installed Sprint or Google Voice?

You could always going into the: "Settings>Applications>Manage Applications" and clear the data and cache for both the stock Voicemail app and Google Voice.

Follow illwood's advice to see if that work out for you. Or, you could installed and use "Youmail" voicemail app from the android market. Really awesome and it's free.

i use to use the regular voicemail but now i use google voice because i thought it would help the issue but it hasnt.. although i like it so im still using it.

I had that happen, and sent myself a voicemail from another phone. Then I deleted that one I sent and it went away. Annoying glitch.
