I dont think we get visual voice mail with unlocked phone.

Right now I just get a notification of voicemail. When I click it my phone calls my voicemail and I have to listen to it like a phone call.

So it's like it was on old flip phones? It will just give you a notification and you dial in to get them? I just didn't want to miss any voicemail. I will call my self from my work phone and see how it works. Thanks.

Visual voicemail came preinstalled on my unlocked Note 9. I think it is an android app, rather than a Samsung one. But, it is a purple/blue icon with the voicemail symbol on it.

Thanks for the tip about the app.

I did not have one installed on my phone but went to the play store and found an AT&T visual voicemail app.
It works nicely even lets me change my greeting on it.

You can download the Sprint Visual Voicemail app from the store and install it. I have it on my unlocked device and I am on Sprint as well and it works just fine. Once my device was activated, I was able to find the app in the app store and install it.

Just installed it. Thanks. I looked before it was activated on sprint network and wasn't there. Happy now.
