voicemail question after updating to marshmallow

[AC Question]

I am on the Verizon network. My M8 recently updated to Marshmallow. I really don't have any feelings either way about the update. I do have one major issue though. My visual voicemail through Verizon isn't functioning like it used to. In the HTC messages app there is a tab I should be able to slide over to to see my voicemail messages. When ever I slide over to that my phone just freezes and will not load the screen. I have also tried going through the verizon voicemail app on the phone and it doesn't load. All in all the htc messages app also works really slow.

I can still access my voicemail in the htc messages app but I have to do it through the "all messages" tab". I really enjoyed being able to view them separate.

Maybe I'm being nitpicky about this. Also, as I am typing this I am deciding I really don't like a lot of things about the update.

Has anyone else had this problem with their voicemail after the update?

I had the same issue.

I like the update personally. I noticed battery life is slightly better and the phone is more fluid.

As for the VM issue, I don't mind it. I just need to be able to retrieve my VM
