There's a new voicemail update which allows you to store your voicemail to your sd card. I'm rooted and having problems downloading it as I'm getting a "not enough space" on my error message.

I tried to troubleshoot by clearing the data, reprovisioning it, all to no avail.

Does anyone have any suggestions/fixes?

I just deleted some programs to allow for more room. I got to the step where I was able to download the program, but it failed to install.

Can anyone look at this? Go to voicemail/settings/check for update.

Try downloading it using Download All Files, then use a file manager to navigate to the location where you saved the CM-update.apk and open it using package installer. This worked just fine for me after it failed through the direct way.

Where do you go to "download all files?" In voicemail, it says check for updates.

Ok, I think you are referring to the down all files app.

I tried it and it doesn't work because its an ota update and there is no physical file to capture, at least I don't know how.

I am referring to the Download All Files app and yes there is. The file is called cm-android.apk. It's about 2MB, so it might take a few minutes to pull down.

Yes, if you can upload it it would be much appreciated. I don't know how to doanload it.

It's a bit misleading. It looked like it was checking for about 5 minutes, then just when I thought it was going to give a timeout error or something, it asked what I wanted to do with the file.

Here it is if you can't get it over your Sprint connection. Works fine with Reborn ROM, except the new icon is exceptionally fugly. :-\

Just put it on your SD card, then use your file manager to select it. It should then prompt you what you want to do with it; just choose Package Installer. As always when installing apps from the SD card, be sure that Unknown Sources is ticked under Applications >> Development.

Thanks for the heads up on this update, I wouldn't have noticed it otherwise. Yeah that is a fugly icon... :-\

I've downloaded the file now and tried installing from the sd card (setting allowed for alternative installations) and the app won't install. What's up?

Here's my steps...

Open file manager.
Browse to Download folder and click on cm-android.apk file
Use Package Installer program
Box says This is a system application. Do you still want to replace it? I click OK
I get the install screen, and click Install
After trying to install for a moment or two, I get a message that says Application not installed. I click on Done.

Ok, what ROM are you running?
You are sure "Unknown sources" is ticked?
USB debugging on?

Finally, you may have a corrupt download. If all of the above checks out, you might try deleting that file and redownloading it.

I'm not sure how to find the ROM. I haven't customized anything and have installed all the latest android updates, if that helps.
Unknown sources is ticked, and USB debugging on (I've been doing all this OTA). Just tried downloading to my computer and emailed it to my gmail account. Tried installing from Gmail app, and still same message "Application not installed".
