Not sure - maybe someone else can offer some tips. Make sure you go through all the sound settings, sounds like you checked the drop down menu too. Notice any changes after a recent update maybr?

Try Settings, Accessibility, Hearing: maybe Mute was accidentally set

It could be my Smart Volume Control+ which is suddenly overriding whatever I do.
