Hi,
I replaced the USB port on my GSM Nexus last night, and unfortunately ripped the connection for the volume controls from the motherboard. I understand this can be replaced and soldered back on. What's curious to me is that the loudspeaker no longer works. Is this related to the volume buttons for some reason? The microphone still works and I still get signal so the piece that the speaker is on has some functionality. I'm not sure how I would have broken this. I'm hoping for input to see if repairing the volume buttons will somehow fix the loudspeaker, or if I need a to buy a new one of those as well.
Thanks,
Dave
