volume control popup?

every once in a while, a little volume control box pops up - I'm not sure if it's that I'm accidentally pushing the volume button so it comes up, but once it comes up I can't figure out how to get out of it, so my only option is to lock and then unlock the screen - super annoying. Any solution for this?

You're just accidentally hitting the volume button on the side and to get it to go away just tap the screen and it'll go away. If you didn't know, the volume button is right under the power button.I hit it all the time by accident too.
