Volume+ doesn't seem to working. Alternatives?

As soon as I check Speaker Modifications under Headset Settings, the sound gets terrible. I'm sure that will get updated in the future. For now, has anyone found another good and working app that has equalizer functions? I wanted to tweak my audio.

Well I'm not sure about what you said but I know the Nexus 4 speaker isn't the best and it sounds terrible if you put the sound too loud.

Another media player? Try PowerAmp with its built-in equalizer.

Really? Which phone has a good speaker? Most cellphone speakers sound similar to me (bad).

BTW, what exactly are we talking about here? Is this a custom app related to your headset?

I don't see any such "Headset Settings" in the stock operating system.
