Volume key apply to all?

Hi,

One of the most annoying things for me is the volume key on my Samsung galaxy only controls one function. Either media or ringtone.

It used to be that the volume keys would apply to all sounds. Media ,notifications, ringtone etc.

So if I knocked the volume key all the way down, all sounds would be muted.

Is there anyway to override this?

There might be a 3rd party app that can do that. But if you want to turn all volumes down, what about using the Do Not Disturb toggle in the Quick Settings?

Which Samsung and Andriod version ? On the newer ones hitting the volume brings up all options to control.

Thanks both.

Yes, I know the volume key brings up the options. My point is that pressing the volume key used to control them all as one.

So instead of individually changing all 4 volumes, you could do them all at once with the volume key.
