volume level

After the 4.2.2 update, my speaker seems to be louder. I don't have an volume boosters running at this time either. Has anyone else noticed this? Or, is it just me? I did an OTA update a week ago when I received a notification.

It's still too low. I was trying to listen to music today on the music app and it was just too low.

Does wonders with my Bose headphones and Shure earbuds and also with some small rechargable speakers I have - increased volume, bass, and overall clarity. I also use it with my MP3 player and Galaxy S3 phone. I am very happy with it.
