Volume Rocker Sticky

Volume rocker appears to be "sticky" or losing the "detent" click feeling on the down volume push. Is it possible to take back off and clean this? No liquid or debris has entered the opening as far as I know. Any other solution?

the button is damaged then, so try to tear it down and see if it still "ticks".

Don't exactly understate that...I don't think the rocker is "damaged" necessarily, but I'm not really into "tearing down" my phone. A. Because I don't want to be without my phone and B. Because I don't have the skills to do that. I'm just trying to see if there is something I can do or if I need to send it in for service.

Try a teeny tiny bit of WD40?
