Volume Up button stopped working

[AC Question]

My volume up button just stopped working i can press it but it does not decrease the volume as my warranty is outdated i wan to fix it.
Can i do it on my own or i have to contact a technician.
I need some help.
My device is Micromax Android one.

Welcome to the forums. In all honesty, I would let a professional handle this. If something goes wrong, you can go back to them, and they shoudl keep at it until it's right.

Often times, there are small connectors and ribbons that are quite fragile, and can be damaged upon disassembly. Even if one is very careful.
