i find the volume for the stocked wired headset for the note8 is rather low even when i set the volume to max.

however, when i use the apple airpod bluetooth headset, the volume is considerably louder which i find very interesting because i always thought wired headset is louder than any bluetooth headset.

anyone has the same experience?

Being wired or not has nothing to do with volume. It's the drivers on the headset itself. Also, the ones bundled in the Note are in ear types, which means they expect you to get a decent seal to get proper volume.

ok, so do you agree the volume for the note8's drivers is low?

I find the AKG ones fairly loud but my Spigen Bluetooth one are definetely louder, however, like previous poster said it is all about a good seal and the Spigen ones just seem to be a perfect fit for me.

I use Beats by Dre bluetooth over ear headphones and have fantastic volume

Anyway, I actually find the included plugs small. So you might need to get third party plugs to make them work better, like Comply foam plugs.

i agreed with you totally. my friend and i both find our stock wired headset has very low volume. i really don't think it has anything to do with seal.
