Is there a fix to increment the volume down just a little or turn it up from silent to 1 at about half the stock setting? This phone scared the hell out of me this morning.

I have never used any of these apps and can't comment on how well, or not so well, these will work for your issue. There should be something in there that allows you to have better control of the sound volume as opposed to the stock incremental adjustment.

Still can't find what I was looking for. I guess I got used to the separate volume controls on the Nexus and S3 for everything is all. I just wish it was a little quieter, and didn't jump around like it does when it vibrates. I'm sure I'll figure something out. Glad to be back with Sprint after 9 months with Verizon though.
