Just wondering if anyone purchased this app? I think its great for boosting the volume up but I wanted to know if anyone had any recommended settings? I notice it doesn't work for the speakerphone with wi-fi calling enabled. I have everything enabled and the speakerphone volume is still pretty low at full volume? Notifications are very loud along with my ringtone. Thanks :D

Ok I've had some time to play with this and I noticed with WI-FI calling in call volumes will be low. Other than that this app works wonders and makes a huge difference, especially watching YouTube videos. Here are the settings I am using which works great.

Speaker Settings

Speaker Modifications ENABLED
VR Effects ENABLED
Virtual Room Effect ENABLED

Basic Settings

EQ Settings GOOD QUALITY
Volume Level +8
Bass Enhance +1
Virtual Room 0

Speaker Modifications ENABLED

Band 1 16,5
Band 2 16,5
Band 3 16 7
Band 4 16,8
Band 5 16,9
Volume Level 10
Bass Level 1
VR Level 1

I have also noticed the higher you put the bass the more distorted it sounds. Hopefully someone can recommend even better settings.

Thanks for the suggestion, I can actually hear notifications now!!

Great app for Sensation, but how does it affect battery life? Running an EQ 24/7 is bound to draw extra juice. Many music player apps warn that using the EQ will drain extra battery.

I like the above preset numbers, but I feel like they could use just a little more tweaking. Anyone know what freq the band numbers refer to specifically?

PowerAMP music player has a preset called "Phone Speaker (Loud)" that does a great job playing music over the speaker. Looking at the profile it seems to lower the bass slightly, raise treble slightly & boost the entire midrange somewhat evenly.

It's not in a ROM, it's in a ROM forum. The developer offers it for free, mainly for testing. He has a donate version also. And you have a payed version in the market for technically challenged people, or for newbs.

Thanks for the answer on that; just after I posted that, in another thread I found a similar answer about sifting through the xda forums for apk files.

I like the volume results on this app for media, ringtones, etc....but are you all getting a nice boost for speakerphone voice calls also? I don't seem to be getting the boost here...

I changed all the values to the ones MattMJB stated worked for him...am I the only one or something because I noticed ABSOLUTELY NO DIFFERENCE in any volume for anything? In-call, Ringtones, YouTube, NetFlix...NO DIFFERENCE.

I entered all values the same way in volume plus and then tried it w/o volume plus and noticed no differences....

Its also important that the app is always running. Make sure it is by opening up the built in task manager. This morning after a reboot I had to re-open it.
