VPN not working after update to Android 6.0.1, any ideas?

VPN not working after update to Android 6.0.1

My vpn was working fine but after I updated my phone to android 6.0.1 and I try to connect to the vpn it connects but after I exit the app the vpn instantly disconnects.

any one have any ideas ?

Does the VPN service you use have a standalone app or are you putting the info in to the stock VPN page?

I can't get my vpn to connect. I tried using the PPTP. I have tried a few apps. But since i bought the s7 edge won't connect to any vpn.
