Vpn !!

Does anyone know where or if the VPN settings are on this phone?

I have a sinking feeling that there are none, (android 1.6 and 2.0 have it).

As a network admin, this is kind of a big thing to have on a smartphone.

That is where I'll head next. The ones I've seen require rooting the phone and only seem to support cisco like devices.

Talked to a Verizon rep today and found that 1.5 has no VPN support, but 1.6 and 2.0 do.
He also said in the same conversation that yes the Eris will get the 2.0 update soon when HTC finishes their SenseUI for it.

Reall good to know
at least its not like winmo and we dont know when (or if ever) an update would come.
but..of course, un-like winmo vpn works out the box...
either way it will be fixed
