VZ Navigator force closing.

Nearly everyday I get a VZ.Navigator is "force closing" notice on my phone. It's nothing more than annoying, but after poor battery life on my phone yesterday, I am worried that whatever is going on is causing the battery life to drain.

Any "fixes" for this?

Why are you using vzn? Google maps is free and works just as well(in your case maybe better).

I had the same error come up numerous times, would just randomly pop up on my screen even if I wasn't using the app. I went then onto the market and there was an update available for it and once I updated, the error "force close" messages stopped...so maybe give that a try. It solved my problem.

The only time it would FC is if it tried to run and failed. Which means its trying to run all the time/on startup (thus the poor battery). You'd have to root to remove it, but you can use an alternative like google maps which is far superior, and free.
