Vzw backup assistant

I just rooted my bros X. Last night. He saved all of his contacts with backup assistant. How can i regain that app so he can reload all of his contacts. He's running fission 2.2.2

You can't with Fission. You should've really probably backed up using Google instead. It's much better than that Backup Assistant crap that Verizon forces on you.

Not AFAIK, but I'd try Googling around / searching the forums.

Backup Assistant isn't really an app. It's built into the Moto Stock ROM and pretty tightly integrated. It's not something you can simply install on any ROM / phone without the Blur internals.

if he logs into his myverizon account on the verizonwireless.com site he can get a list of them. he can even save it as a .csv file and just open it on the phone to restore the contacts.
