VZW just screwed me over!

Hey bro I don' even know if it matters anymore but I was experiencing the same problems with 4g and voice 3 weeks after I got my device. I called verizon and after talking to a million different reps we figured out the problem was that my back case was not getting signal properly because I was using a 3500mah extended battery which I got for 10$ on ebay. Did you happen to have an aftermarket battery or back door?

You know, I wonder if it has anything to do with customer value ratings. I found out that I am 'rated' very high at AT&T via whatever system they use but probably bottom of the barrel at Verizon... :)

I really don't know why my experiences are so poor as I dont treat either of them any different.

Overall, I'd like to start by saying how much I despise the premise of a "customer value" rating entirely. I have noticed it do two things: Screw over the little guy and develop a superiority complex for the high rollers. I despise that type of thinking.

However, at face value every customer Customer Care and Tech Support is to be treated as high value, regardless if you have the lowest bill and the worst payment history... ESPECIALLY when it comes to any rep giving you the wrong explanation or something legal (i.e. International Roaming Charges) not being explained to you in full.

However, the only real time either of those departments deal in "customer value" is when they are making exceptions. Sending a different device for a warranty replacement not covered under a specific policy is a good example of something requiring higher "customer value".
