Vzw note 2 random reboot

Re: Vzw note 2 random rebootVzw note 2 random reboot

36 hours and no reboot issues here. The phone hasn't hiccuped once with anything I've thrown at it. Works like a champ!

Same here :) amazing. I love this damn thing!

Used the phone for a day now and so far no reboots, but when I go to the google home page sometimes it refreshes the browser constantly until I go to a different web page. If I go to settings location services and uncheck google location services and check the box it seems to stop but kinda annoying. Has anybody else experienced this issue?

I've experienced it a few times in the past day or two on my super old phone that's still on Froyo, so yeah, I doubt that's a GN2 issue.

I got my At&T Galaxy Note 2 on 11/9/12 first day and it worked fine for 3 weeks. Then once I installed avast! and it's anti theft application, the phone started randomly reboot on it's own. I uninstall the app and it didn't fix the problem. I did a factory reset and did not install any kind of antivirus or anti-theft app and the phone still rebooted twice on it's own but not as often as it did before which was 5-7 times a day. My phone is not rooted and I have about a dozen app from the Google play store. I don't know why it's acting up.

My iPhone 4S was doing the Google.com refresh loop earlier tonight. Def not a Note II issue.

I am keeping an eye on this thread since I was thinking about getting this phone.

I've been following this thread for quite some time now, I found a definitive solution for my random reboots.
Apparently there is poor connection between the battery pack and the sensors on the phone, I inserted a little plastic strip that helps keeping this connection tighter and I've had no reboots whatsoever for 2 weeks now. I've concluded this was my problem, I came to it by tapping the back side gently (that's what she said) to find out that it rebooted it.

Hope this helps, much love from Costa Rica

All my CLNR had reboot issues but I went out and bought a brand new one without any issues. My SIM was also replaced so maybe that's why.

This info was so helpful to me! Thank you!

It has definitely reduced my reboot issues substantially. I alsothink, however, it's the SIM card. When i had my okd SIM card, i didn't have those problems. But for other reasons, i got a new one.

Not for sure... gonna give it time.

right now, it seems.whatever update there was destroys SD cards. i had a 16 G that was damaged in this phone. I put in a new 8 G and "damaged" after a reboot. So, idk. LOVE the phone regardless.
