Is there an app like wake lock detector for non rooted users?

The closest thing I I can think of is Watchdog. But the two apps don't quite equal each other. As for finding an exact duplicate, I am not sure.

Well I just need an app to tell me what keeps my phone awake.

It can inform you of rouge apps. I would give it a try. The worst that can happen is it reports nothing out of the ordinary, which you know is not true.

Ok. Then I would suggest a reboot into recovery and clear your cache partition.

This might sound dumb but what does it do

Looked it up and did it. Didn't really do anything. I think I either need to do a factory reset or root my phone so I can get wake lock detector
