waking the phone from optical sensor button

Does anyone know if there is anyway to wake the phone by using the optical button? For me and other people that use my phone, it seams almost intuitive to push the button to wake it up. Any Ideas?

Yeah I would love this also. I am coming from an iphone and it just seems right to push the optical sensor to wake the phone.

Well there is a thread out there where someone downloaded an app called No Lock. it takes the lock off the phone and you can hit the optical sensor, volume keys or lock button to wake it up. problem is it doesn't work consistently but its better than nothing. Guess the creator is working out the bugs as well.
