Will wallyworld stock this phone? Sometimes they get new phones really early as well. I'm thinking about checking out my local store and see what they are getting.

Wally World? Who are you Chevy Chase? Lol.....Walmart does usually carry the phones cheaper but don't expect anything earlier then the release date of your carrier or even Bestbuy. I was there the other day and they were only carrying Verizon and I think Tmobile phones....and it's only a select amount of phones.

+1 Just go to bestbuy, the AT&T store or amazon wireless and you should be able to get it within the first few days of the launch, rest assured.

I know wally world had the captivate for $49.00 when everyone else was selling it for $150-200...Best Buy told me they would price match..

I'm not worried about it being cheaper. I am going to buy the phone outright. I am looking to get it early. Many times Walmart will get a phone like this in inventory 3-4 days early. It happened with the T-Mobile HD Windows phone and with a Motorola Droid. I had friends get them way early because of this. I was hoping maybe that I could catch one before the weekend if this happened.

How many times are you going to post this? This isn't a forum on political issues. If you have a substantive reason why someone should not shop somewhere (bad customer service, high prices, etc) then post that. Otherwise, keep your ideology to yourself. There are plenty of other places for it.

I just checked the walmart website and it's showing me a price of $59.99 (preorder) when you place the phone in your shopping cart.

Contract renewal price from Walmart is $69.99. I would consider getting this phone for that price, but I think I will wait still.

I think I hit the new customer button - $10 cheaper for new ATT people (like me) switching over from Sprint.
