Wallpaper changing on restart?

Still in the first week with my moto x. One thing I noticed is that if I turn my phone off and restart it, my wallpaper changes. I have 3 different wallpaper apps zedge, wallbase and cool wallpapers hd. Does anyone else's do that? I checked my setting in zedge and it says to never update it. I haven't found features to auto update in the other two apps or in the phone itself. I'm running Nova as well and I didn't see any settings about auto updating wallpaper either. Anyone else? Not a deal breaker on the phone... Just odd behavior. Love it otherwise... Especially the hands free stuff... Awesome for driving!

Mine does this with a static picture. My live wallpaper is fine after a reboot.

Mine just changes completely to a different picture. Never one of my photos or anything. Just wallpapers that I've downloaded.

Mine has been doing this lately as well. So far around 3 times. This has never happened before. I also have Zedge and the setting is turned off to change the wallpaper. Zedge was recently updated, possibly a bug in the app?

I too have the restart-wallpaper change bug on KitKat Moto X. I too thought the error was zedge-based, but moved the image to Google photos and the native gallery--same problem. Motorola wallpapers also reset on restart. Thanks in advance for figuring this out, Motorola tech.

Mine also zooms in after I restart the phone. Weird.
