Wallpaper question

I have a wallpaper question for the Rezound, I found the screen size and re-sized my image to match, when you use the gallery set as wallpaper function it still shows a smaller box that you have to move around the image and crops it when it is set. (I hope that sounds right) Is there something I am missing?

Images should be resized to 1440 x 1280 if you want the whole image. I hope that's still right. I haven't had my Rez in a while.

I've never had luck at wallpaper resizing...don't know why, guess I'm just not smart like that. I do however use Wallpaper Wiziardrii. Free app, works great for resizing on your phone.
